We guarantee that rates on our website will be the lowest rate publicly available on the Internet that day.

If you find a rate lower than our Best Available Rate, bookable on another web site for the same room type, same date(s), same number of guests and in the same currency, and you advise us within 12 hours after booking your room, we will match the lower rate and take an additional 10% off that lower rate!

To file a claim, send us an email with your booking details.

  • Guarantee applies only to reservations made at www.delmerehotels.com, www.delmerehotel.co.uk or www.hotelcolumbus.co.uk.
  • Guest must have a confirmed reservation with us.
  • Guest must submit the claim within 12 hours after booking and at least 48 hours before scheduled arrival. If the original reservation was made within 48 hours of arrival, the Best Rate Guarantee is not applicable.
  • The competing rate on another Web site must be for the same room type, same dates, same number of guests, in the same currency, and must be viewable and bookable by the general public via the Internet. Bookable means that the rate is available, shows availability and can be booked online.
  • The Delmere or Columbus hotel reservations department must be able to verify that the claim meets all conditions of the Best Internet Rate Guarantee and these Terms and Conditions, and that it has been properly submitted.
  • For a multiple night stay, the total room cost for the stay will be evaluated in determining whether the other Web site has a lower rate.
  • Any rate change is not effective until the guest receives written confirmation. Claims submitted outside of business hours will be processed on the next business day. If a guest's stay begins before written confirmation is received, the original rate will remain in effect. Refunds will be issued accordingly.
  • The Delmere and Columbus hotels require that the written confirmation of any rate change be presented by the guest at check-in.
  • The Best Internet Rate Guarantee applies only to published rates available to the general public. Corporate rates, wholesale rates, or rates which are part of a travel package which includes more than hotel accommodations do not qualify.
  • The rates available under this Best Internet Rate Guarantee cannot be combined with any other special promotional offers or discounts.
  • We reserve the right to modify, alter, suspend or terminate this Best Internet Rate Guarantee at any time without prior notice at its sole discretion.
